If components are no longer available or if functionality is to be extended, we offer competent solutions together with our development department which extend the service life of the product. Quality assurance is regulated in processes and guarantees the customer reliability throughout the entire series. The test environment and the use of production tools are adapted to the size of the series.
SYNICS offers comprehensive services for the system provider and the end customer for the products we supply. This includes maintenance, device repair, telephone support, customer-specific on-site support for commissioning and customer training. If required, the end customer can also send the devices directly to us. We clarify the required services with our system partner and provide them after his approval. This guarantees short dispatch times and clear responsibilities.
Component and device development
SYNICS offers comprehensive development services. This can be a feasibility study, a functional prototype/model, an assembly or an entire device with mechanical components and device-specific software.
For all development stages, we work with modern tools that support us. We ensure efficient, traceable performance with structured processes in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.
We are specialized in the development of products for small to medium-sized series. The means and methods used for the most favorable development are adapted to the respective development goals.
PC software
Evaluating driving data, developing an application-specific programming language, designing appealing user interfaces, controlling devices and transmitting data via WLAN – our software specialists always have good ideas.
Producing assemblies and devices in series
Whether 10 or 1,000 units, We adapt the procedures and means to the size of the series. Whether manual or fully automated – we implement the desired test depth. Our quality is certified.
We have comprehensive production documentation for every product, in which everything from purchasing to the production process to test logging is recorded, including possible changes up to the latest production batch. We know the history and personnel in charge of each production lot and can access the production data even after years with the lot identification.
Embedded Software
Success in development depends, among other things, on the right balance between the chosen hardware and the software tools used. Not only the initial technical implementation has to be considered, but also, for example, maintainability, series size, safety and security requirements, service life of the hardware as well as the software tools, development time, target price for product and development and the organization of customer and supplier. SYNICS designs custom solutions for small and large projects together with the customer and finds the suitable hat for each project.
Embedded software has the task of logically mapping a function within a physical or informatic system. In order to avoid dead ends in the development process, it is therefore essential to determine the methods best suited to the task as early as the design stage. We offer an abstraction that is better adapted to the target function and these help to never lose sight of the goal during coding. Designing and programming Control Systems
The scope of functions, required I/Os and the user interface are discussed with the customer. We use tried and tested components and tools for implementation and testing on the system.
Maintaining and repairing equipment
Our service is comprehensive. Whether it is a software update, customization, repair or maintenance after a long period of use – SYNICS knows the history of every device – thus offering a comprehensive service.
If no compatible market available device exists, a repair may be worthwhile even after a long time of usage. We find replacements for obsolete components and we are acquainted with other sources of supply. We get support from our production and development department. SYNICS discusses the most favorable procedure with the customer and finds the optimal solution.
Design of mechanical components
Synics is the right partner for the integration of mechanical and electronic components. We package your electronics in a customized housing or construct a complete device, even with moving parts. We can take over existing customer data (STEP, IGES and others). Whether machined or injection molded, we deliver a functional sample to the customer after a short time, with which the specifications can be checked (3D printing, prototype tool, CNC machining). For the production of series, we rely on experienced partners.
